This is a beautiful spice rack. It arrived in perfect condition, and had all the spices listed in the product description. It is a very striking addition to any kitchen, and is filled with very useful everyday spices, as well as a couple of ones I had never used before, like savory. I love the glass bottles, and they will be very easy to refill due to the wider mouth tops. I highly recommend this rack for the beginner or for the accomplished cook!

I bought it because of the way it looks; and it looks better in person than it does in the pictures. However, many of the 'spices' are useless combinations of salt and a few herbs - they all went in the garbage and I was easily able to polish off the labels with a bit of steel wool so that I don't get confused when I put real spices in these great-looking jars. I would be a lot better if it were just the rack with empty jars and a selection of peel&stick labels.

I bought this set for the jars. I like the 16-jar orbit spice rack better, but I wanted more than 16 jars of spices handy on the counter. So the plan was to build my own spice rack based on the orbit design, holding 20-24 jars. Catch-22: all of these jars are labeled (and came filed with spices). Heavens only knows how old the spices are. And thanks, but no thanks, I don't need ginger, poultry, cajun, steak, and Italian seasonings on my counter top 24/7! It does have a couple of redeeming qualities: a) it fits quite nicely up against the wall, in the dark, under the upper cabinets, and b) the labels are only on one side and hard to see back there anyway. BTW, you're supposed to keep spices in the dark.
