| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review This handy spice carousel accommodates twenty-one jars, which arrive ready to use complete with spices and herbs. Spices include popular favorites such as basil, oregano, dill weed, while garlic salt, and mustard seed. Attractive stainless steel with a handle on top for transport, the rack rotates on a Lazy Susan to display three sections, with seven clear glass jars apiece. On each section's side, the rack offers an open side view, allowing chefs to locate desired ingredients by sight. Easy-to-read lettering on each jar top also assists in speedy content recognition. Jars are sealed for freshness and have plastic shaker tops for controlled spice dispensing. This item was made in China and weighs 10. --Jessica Reuling What's in the Box Spice rack includes: whole allspice; mustard seed; marjoram; black pepper; basil; garlic salt; coriander; caraway seed; dill weed; Italian seasoning; poultry seasoning; thyme; rosemary; savory; oregano; parsley; bay leaves; crushed mint; celery salt; pizza seasonings.

| Customer Reviews: Great starter spice tower for the price January 8, 2010 Bastet (Florida, US) I purchased this tower for my 20 year old daughter who had moved into her first apartment. She loves it! The lids have a strange "swing open" top that can break if you're not careful. To solve that issue my daughter simply unscrews the lid and pops off the inner plastic 'spill proof' lid. She leaves the inner 'spill proof' lid attached, when not in use, to reseal the spices and keep them fresher. She was very excited to see the Nutmeg spice was included. My kitchen and her kitchen is never absent of Nutmeg. I would love to see a spice rack that is dedicated to desert and exotic spices.
spice rack review March 8, 2006 urosenfeld (Yardley, PA United States) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
The spice rack looks gorgeous. The only problem I have with it is it came with some odd spices I never use (like caraway seed and fennel), but it did not come with spices like garlic powder or nutmeg! I also found that once you open the lid, it's sometimes hard to close properly again.
ok rack, poorly designed jars December 31, 2005 unhappy 27 out of 27 found this review helpful
The rack itself is an OK product, the thin walls may seem a bit flimsy, but once filled, the jars serve to support each other and seem to stay in place just fine.
My main gripe about this product is the lids the jars come with. The pour holes are covered with a flimsy transparent plastic lid that is hinged via one small hole and rotates out. 1/2 of my lids came with the hinges already cracked. Due to design and the slightly curved top of the lid, the clear plastic covering is not flush with the rest of the black plastic lid, and as such, there's a 1mm or so gap between the two. If you have a filled jar placed in this rack, and if the spices are fine grained like poppy seeds or many of the chopped up herbs this rack came with, things start leaking out!! In addition, with this leaky jar lid, if you live in a humid environment, certain spices will spoil easily as well.
The plastic jars McCormick spices you buy from the grocery store come in has better lids than these.
Fragile Jar Lids October 19, 2006 Brianna Shultz (Roy, Utah) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I received this for Christmas last year. I need to put a new spice rack on my wishlist now.
The lids on the jars are very poorly designed and break very easily. Turn the thing a little to far and it snaps. Let a friend use your kitchen and spices -- they'll break one, too, just out of misunderstanding of how the lid works and how easily it breaks with the slightest bit of pressure. A year later, 6 or 7 of my jars are lidless, sealed with saran wrap, and in the cupboard.
